Serving In Our World

Here is the world.
Beautiful and terrible things will happen.
Don’t be afraid.

A Rocha International

A Rocha International is a Christian organization engaging communities in nature conservation. Their goal is to respond to the global crisis of biodiversity loss by carrying out community-based conservation projects. Through residential field study centres, site-based projects and wider advocacy, A Rocha:

  • Carries out ecological monitoring and research in areas of high value for wildlife;
  • Spearheads practical measures for conserving and restoring habitats and their fauna and flora;
  • Encourages appreciation of nature and participation in its conservation, through environmental education and community outreach;
  • Provides a forum for understanding the relevance of the Christian faith to environmental issues.

Blood:Water

Blood:Water Mission is an equipping agency that partners with African grassroots organizations to address the HIV/AIDS and water crises. They do this by identifying Africa’s hidden heroes and coming alongside their vision for change. Through technical, financial and organizational support, they seek to expand the reach and effectiveness of African civil society organizations and the communities they serve.

International Justice Mission

International Justice Mission is a human rights agency that brings rescue to victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. IJM lawyers, investigators and aftercare professionals work with local officials to secure immediate victim rescue and aftercare, to prosecute perpetrators, and to ensure that public justice systems — police, courts, and laws — effectively protect the poor.
