Serving In Our Church

It is grace, nothing but grace,
that we are allowed to live in community.
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Ministry Teams

The Christian life cannot be understood outside of the context of Christian community. So whether you are just beginning to explore the message of Jesus or are a committed follower of Jesus, here are some ways you can connect.

Welcome Team

The Welcome Team exists to show hospitality to our guests and church members each week and to help connect those who are interested to the life of our community.

If you are visiting City Church, please fill out our Connect Card (button below). We would like to send you an email (only one, we promise!) with some more information about our church. You can also share prayer requests, or any other information you would like us to know.

Youth Ministry

Our ministry to Middle School and High School students by God’s grace has thrived despite the circumstances of the pandemic. We are a growing community that is deeply connected with one another— all the beauty and messiness of knowing and being known.

Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry of CCEN seeks to provide various spaces and ways for men of different ages and stages of life to plug into the community and grow in their faith journey of following Jesus.

Women's Ministry

City Church of East Nashville has an active Women’s Ministry Team that coordinates various bible studies, prayer times, retreats, and events throughout the year.

Children's Ministry

Our church is passionate about serving families and enabling them to thrive in the city. City Church Kids hopes to equip and partner with families as you seek to invest in the spiritual wholeness of your children. We value the role of kids as a central part of our community and desire to create an environment where they feel known, loved, and respected.

Music Ministry

Our Music Team is comprised of a combination of professional and volunteer musicians of all ages from the City Church community. We are dedicated to singing songs that reflect the truth and freedom of the gospel and the honest emotional landscape of the Christian life, full of joys and also full of suffering at times.

Prayer Ministry

At City Church, we are committed to living out our devotion to God through the reality of prayer as we seek to live in moment-by-moment dependence upon Him for all things. In light of this commitment, our community gathers on the 1st Wednesday evenings of each month to pray for our church, our city, our world, and for one another. All are welcome to join!
